GENERAL DATA PROTECTION REGULATION

This privacy policy of LA BOTTEGA PLATNÉŘSKÁ s.r.o., IČO: 24167843, registered office: Prague 3, Žižkov, Kubelíkova 1189/29, postcode 130 00, registered in the Commercial Register maintained by the Municipal Court in Prague, Section C, File 184954 (hereinafter referred to as "Controller") and the subsequent processing of personal data are governed primarily by Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data (General Data Protection Regulation - GDPR). Any cases not regulated by GDPR or explicitly allowing national adjustments are governed by Act No. 110/2019 Coll. on the Processing of Personal Data, as amended (hereinafter referred to as the "Personal Data Protection Act").

WHAT PERSONAL DATA DO WE PROCESS?
The personal data you provide are processed based on legal grounds according to Article 6(1)(b) of the GDPR, where processing is necessary for contract performance, Article 6(1)(c) for compliance with legal obligations, or Article 6(1)(f) for legitimate interests of the Controller. Additionally, where these grounds are insufficient, processing may take place under Article 6(1)(a) based on your consent.

Personal data are processed for our business purposes, primarily for creating and managing reservations in the Controller's reservation system and for marketing purposes, including sending information about the Controller’s current offers and similar commercial communications.

For reservation management, we collect the following personal data:

  • Full name

  • Email address

  • Phone number

  • Payment card details (if a deposit payment is required)

HOW LONG ARE PERSONAL DATA STORED?
Your personal data will be processed and stored for the duration necessary to fulfill the purpose of processing and to comply with legal obligations or protect the Controller’s rights. If you exercise your right to be forgotten or withdraw your consent, the data will be retained for a shorter period accordingly.

COOKIES
To improve services and perform anonymous analysis, the Controller’s website (https://finestrina.lacollezione.cz/) uses cookies.

TYPES OF COOKIES:

  • Functional cookies – essential for the proper functioning of the website

  • Analytical cookies – collect information about website traffic

  • Marketing cookies – collect data for more effective targeting of online advertising

Consent for cookie usage is granted when you first visit the Controller’s website. You can adjust your preferences later in your browser settings.

PROCESSING AND SECURITY OF PERSONAL DATA
The Controller is authorized to process personal data both automatically and manually, either independently or through designated data processors. Access to personal data is restricted to authorized employees of the Controller or processors, and only to the extent necessary for processing.

The transmission of personal data to other controllers or processors occurs only to a minimal extent, and all contractual relationships are based on processing agreements, in which our processors commit to maintaining security standards equivalent to those of the Controller.

To ensure the highest level of personal data protection, the Controller implements appropriate technological and security measures. Despite these efforts, absolute security cannot be guaranteed, and in the event of any incidents posing a risk, the Controller will promptly inform you.

SURVEILLANCE CAMERA RECORDINGS
For the purpose of property and health protection as well as damage prevention, the Controller monitors premises via surveillance camera systems with recordings. This is done without infringing on guest privacy. Areas under surveillance are clearly marked.

Following a legitimate interest assessment under Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR, camera recordings are stored for a maximum of 7 days, unless required for criminal, administrative, or similar proceedings.

DATA SUBJECT RIGHTS
Under GDPR and the Personal Data Protection Act, you have the following rights:

  • If data processing is based on your consent, you have the right to limit processing, withdraw consent, or request deletion of all data processed based on your consent—except where processing is required by law or legitimate interest.

  • Request information about what personal data we process and request a copy of your data.

  • Request an explanation regarding the processing of your personal data.

  • Access, update, correct, or delete your data, where legally applicable.

  • Be informed of personal data security breaches.
